Saul goes out again after David, who comes by night where Saul and his men are asleep, but suffers him not to be touched. Saul again confesses his fault, and promises peace.

And the Ziphites went to Saul at Gibeah, saying: “Behold, David is hidden on the hill of Hachilah, which is opposite the wilderness.”
