ἀπροσωπολήπτως (ἀπροσωπολήμπτως L T Tr WH; cf. references under Mu), a word of Hellenistic origin (alpha privative and προσωπολήπτης, which see), without respect of persons, i. e. impartially: 1Pe 1:17 (Epistle of Barnabas 4, 12 [ET]; (Clement of Rome, 1Co 1:1-31; 1Co 3:1-23 [ET])). (The adjective ἀπροσωπόληπτος occurs here and there in ecclesiastical writings.)
