συστοιχέω (T WH συνστοιχέω (cf. σύν, II. at the end)), συστοίχω; (see στοιχέω); to stand or march in the same row (file) with: so once properly, of soldiers, Polybius 10, 21, 7; hence, to stand over against, be parallel with; tropically, to answer to, resemble: τίνι, so once of a type in the O. T. which answers to the antitype in the New, Gal 4:25 (cf. Lightfoot at the passage).
