I. [נָצָה] verb fly (?); — only Qal Perfect 3 plural (si vera lectio) נָצ֫וּ גַּםנָֿ֑עוּ Lam 4:15 (of homeless exiles); text very dubious; read perhapsנָ֫דוּ (compare Gen 4:12; Gen 4:14), so Bu; Löhr (more venturesomely) כִּי לֹא יִמְצְאוּ מָנוֺחַ; Buhl13 perhaps כִּי גַּם נָָֽגְעוּ.



[נָצַץ] verb denominative bloom, blossom (Late Hebrew id.; Jewish-Aramaic נְצַץ id.); —

Hiph`il Perfect 3 plural הֵנֵ֫צוּ Song 6:11 (no dagh., see Köi. 381 Ges § 67, 8, R. 11) the pomegranates have put forth blossoms, so Song 7:13 Imperfect 3 masculine singular יָנֵאץ Eccl 12:5 the almond-tree wears blossoms.
