עִוָּרוֺן noun [masculine] blindness; — only in phrase (subject ׳י), smite (הִכָּה) with blindness: figurative of 'blind incapacity' (Dr) ׳בְּע Deut 28:28 of smiting horses ׳בַּע Zech 12:4, i.e. with blind staggers, making them helplessly wild.
