עֵ֫לָּא adverb above (from noun עֵל, with א- of direction, D^{§ 44. l n}.; Nabataean, Egyptian Aramaic, id., Lzb³⁴¹ S-C^{A 5}+; ᵑ7 עֵיל, עֵילָא; Syriac in above); — Dan 6:3 עֵ֫לָּא מִנְּהוֺן above (over) them (compare Cooke^{96. 2}, Deut 28:43 ᵑ7).
