A man of the tribe of Asher living before Israel's Monarchy, first mentioned at 1Ch.7.32; son of: Heber (H2268); brother of: Japhlet (H3310), Hotham (H2369) and Shua (H7774); father of: Ahi (H0277H), Rohgah (H7303), Jehubbah (H3160) and Aram (H0758J); also called Shemer (KJV: Shamer) at 1Ch.7.34; Another name of sho.mer (שֹׁמֵר "Shomer" H7763H) § Shemed or Shamed = "destroyed" a Benjamite, son of Elpaal and builder of the towns of Ono and Lod
