[תָּאָה] verb Pi`el Imperfect 3 masculine plural תְּתָאוּ Num 34:7; Num 34:8 apparently ye shall mark out (the boundary), but this (and הִתְאַוִּיתֶם vNum 34:10, √ אוה q. v.) very dubious, see Gray, and [תָּאַר].

תָּאַר verb apparently incline (perhaps akin to תּוּר Thes; > Buhl denominative from תֹּאַר, q. v. ); —

Qal Perfect 3 masculine singular ׳ת, subject boundary: Josh 18:14, with ה locative Josh 15:9 b. 11; with מִן ֗֗֗ עַל vJosh 15:9 a; with מִן only, Josh 18:17 probably also with accusative of location Josh 19:13 (read רִמּ֫וֺנָה וְתָאַר הַנֵּעָה to Rimmon, and it inclined to Ne`;a Di Steuern Benn and others). [תָּאַר] verb Pi`el denominative draw in outline, trace out; — Imperfect 3 masculine singular suffix יְתָֽאֲרֵ֫הוּ Isa 44:13 (twice in verse) (both with ב instrumental), of shaping idols; for ᵑ0 2 masculine plural תְּתָאוּ Num 34:7; Num 34:8 CheEncy. Bib. 2109 proposes תְּתָאֲרוּ ye shall trace out (the boundary; with וְתֵאַרְתֶּם for וְהִתְאַוִּיתֶם vNum 34:10); see also תאה, תוה.
