¶And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
And it shall be a statute for ever unto you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and shall do no manner of work, the home-born, or the stranger that sojourneth among you:
`And it hath been to you for a statute age-during, in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month, ye humble yourselves, and do no work--the native, and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst;
And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you. In the seventh month, on the tenth of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, the home-born, and the stranger that sojourneth among you;
So this shalbe an ordinance for euer vnto you: the tenth day of the seuenth moneth, yee shall humble your soules, and do no worke at all, whether it be one of the same countrey or a strager that soiourneth among you.
And it shall be a statute forever to you. In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and shall do no manner of work, the home-born, or the stranger who sojourns among you.

And let this be an order to you for ever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day, you are to keep yourselves from pleasure and do no sort of work, those who are Israelites by birth and those from other lands who are living among you:
This is to be a permanent statute for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month, you shall humble yourselves1 and not do any work—whether the native or the foreigner who resides among you—
- Or afflict your souls or deny yourselves; also in verse 31
And it shall be a statute for ever unto you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and shall do no manner of work, the home-born, or the stranger that sojourneth among you.
And you shall hold this as a perpetual statute: In the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls and do no work at all, whether it is a natural [of your own country] or a stranger that sojourns among you;

“And this shall be ⌞a lasting statute⌟1 for you: in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month, you must deny yourselves and you must not do any work, whether the native or2 the alien who is dwelling in your midst,
- Literally “a statute of eternity” or “a statute of long duration”
- Or “and”
And it shall be for a never ending statute, in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month, you shall humble yourself and do no work, the native, and the alien who is staying in your midst.
And it shall be a statute forever to you: in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month, you shall afflict your souls and do no work at all, the native and the alien who is staying among you.
