A man living at the time of Divided Monarchy, only mentioned at 1Ch.27.27 § Zabdi = "endowment" 1) son of Zerah and grandson of Judah; grandfather of Achan 2) one of the sons of Shimhi, a Benjamite 3) an officer of David, in charge of the produce of the vineyards for the wine-cellars 4) son of Asaph the minstrel; also called 'Zaccur' and 'Zichri'

1. grandfather of Achan, of Judah (ᵐ5 Ζαμβρ(ε)ι etc., ᵐ5L Ζαβδ(ε)ι) Josh 7:1 (app. = זִמְרִי 1Chr 2:6, ᵐ5 Ζαμβρ(ε)ι) v1Chr 2:17 v1Chr 2:18.
2. a Benjamite 1Chr 8:19.
3. an officer of David 1Chr 27:27.
4. a Levite Neh 11:17 (omitted by B; A Ζεχρι, ᵐ5L Ζεχρει) probably read זִכְרִי, as || 1Chr 9:15.
