ἀσέβεια, ἀσεβείας, ἡ (ἀσεβής, which see), want of reverence toward God, impiety, ungodliness: Rom 1:18; 2Ti 2:16; Tit 2:12; plural ungodly thoughts and deeds, Rom 11:26 (from Isa 59:20); τά ἔργα ἀσεβείας (Treg. brackets ἀσεβείας), works of ungodliness, a Hebraism, Jud 1:15, cf.
