1. before singular noun: אַמָּה Gen 6:15 + 3 t., +, with בָּאַמָּה Exod 26:8 +3 t.; שָׁנָה 2Sam 5:4 + 12 t. (age of paternity, of Levitical or royal duty, etc.), אִישׁ Judg 14:19 + 3 t., etc.; before plural noun בָּנִים Judg 10:4; Judg 12:9, אֲנְשִׁים Jer 38:10 (read here probably שְׁלשָׁהּ Ew Hi Gf and others), less common words Ezek 40:17; Ezra 1:9; Ezra 1:10, etc.; after plural noun Gen 32:16, פְּעָמִים ׳שׁ Ezek 41:6 אֶלֶף ׳שׁ 1Chr 23:3 +, אֲלָפִים ׳שׁ Ezra 2:35; Neh 7:38 ׳שׁ following units Gen 11:12 + 14 t., precedes 1Kgs 22:42 + 29 t.; ׳שׁ following 100 (1000, etc.) Gen 5:5 + 15 t., precedes Gen 5:3 + 21 t.
