[גָּלָל] noun [masculine] account, only in construct stative with בְּ, בִּגְלַל on account of, for the sake of ( a great and momentous matter; on thy account; compare מִן בִּגְלַל דְּ because that in Palestinian ᵑ7, as Ps 4:9, and in Jerusalem Syriac PS⁷³¹) Gen 39:5 ׳י blessed the house of the Egyptian בִּגְלַל יוֺסֵף on account of Joseph, Deut 15:10; Deut 18:12; 1Kgs 14:16; Jer 11:17; Jer 15:4 with suffix בִּגְלָלֶ֑ךָ Gen 30:27 בִּגְלָלֵךְ Gen 12:13 בִּגְלַלְכֶם Deut 1:37; Mic 3:12.
