διαστέλλω: to draw asunder, divide, distinguish, dispose, order, (Plato, Polybius, Diodorus, Strabo, Plutarch; often in the Sept.); passive τό διαστελλόμενον, the injunction: Heb 12:20 (2Ma 14:28). Middle, (present διαστέλλομαι); imperfect διεστελλομην; 1 aorist διεστειλαμην; to open oneself, i. e. one's mind, to set forth distinctly, (Aristotle, Polybius); hence, in the N. T. (so Eze 3:18-19; Jdt 11:12) to admonish, order, charge: τίνι, Mar 8:15; Act 15:24; followed by (ἵνα (cf.
