Chapter 23
Job wishes to be tried at God’s tribunal.
1 Then Job answered by saying:

Literally, ‘the hand of my scourging has been made heavier over my mourning.” In other words, Job’s suffering from physical pains is increased because it is on top of his spiritual sorrows.
