Chapter 22
Balac, king of Moab, sends twice for Balaam to curse Israel. In his way Balaam is rebuked by an angel.
1 And they set out and made camp in the plains of Moab, across the Jordan, where Jericho is situated.

They are encamped opposite me.

Come and curse them, so that, in some way, I may be able to fight them and drive them away.’ ”
