τοιοῦτος — toioûtos

τοιοῦτος, τοιαύτη, τοιοῦτο and τοιοῦτον (only this second form of the neuter occurs in the N. T., and twice (but in Mat 18:5 T WH have τοιοῦτο)) (from τοῖος and οὗτος (others say lengthened from τοῖος or connected with αὐτός; cf. τηλικοῦτος)) (from Homer down), such as this, of this kind or sort;

a. joined to nouns: Mat 9:8; Mat 18:5; Mar 4:33; Mar 6:2; Mar 7:8 (here T WH omit; Tr brackets the clause),; (here Tdf. τούτων); Joh 9:16; Act 16:24; 1Co 5:1; 1Co 11:16; 2Co 3:4; 2Co 3:12; 2Co 12:3; Heb 7:26; Heb 8:1; Heb 12:3; Heb 13:16; Jas 4:16.
