Chapter 3
1 IT is a true saying, If a man seeks the office of a bishop, he desireth a laudable employment.

ἔχονταςechontasholdingG2192V-PAP-APM μυστήριονmustērionmysteryG3466N-ASN πίστεωςpisteōsfaithG4102GN-GSF καθαρᾷkatharaclearG2513A-DSF συνειδήσει.suneidēseia conscience.G4893N-DSF 10 And let these also be first proved, and if found blameless, then let them enter on the deacon’s office.
