Chapter 5
1 REBUKE not harshly an aged man, but admonish him as a father; the younger men as brethren;

πρεσβυτέραςpresbuteraselder [women]G4245HN-APF-C μητέρας,mēterasmothers,G3384N-APF νεωτέραςneōteras[and] younger [women]G3501A-APF-C ἀδελφὰςadelphassistersG0079N-APF ἁγνείᾳ.hagneiapurity.G0047N-DSF 3 Honour the widows, that are widows indeed.
χήραςchērasWidowsG5503N-APF τίμαtimado honorG5091V-PAM-2S τὰςtaswho [are]G3588T-APF χήρας.chēraswidows.G5503N-APF 4 But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them learn as their first duty to shew their piety towards their own family, and make a grateful return to their progenitors: for this is becoming and acceptable before God.

ἐξετράπησανexetrapēsanhave turned asideG1624V-2API-3P σατανᾶ.satanaSatan.G4567N-GSM-T 16 But if any man or woman who believes hath widows their relations, let him provide for them, and let not the church be burdened; that there may be a sufficiency for the real widows.
