Chapter 4

1 We are to strive against covetousness, 4 intemperance, 5 pride, 11 detraction, and rash judgement of others: 13 and not to be confident in the good success of worldly business, but mindful ever of the uncertainty of this life, to commit our selves, and all our affairs to God’s providence.

1 From where come wars and fights among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
