1 And the fifth angel sounded. And I saw a star fall from the heaven to the earth, and it was given the key to the bottomless pit.

And there arose a smoke out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace. And the sun and air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.

And authority was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have authority.

And their torment was like a scorpion's torment when he stings a man.

And they will long to die, and death will flee from them.

And on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.

And their authority was to hurt men five months.

Behold, after these things yet come two woes.

And the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions. And out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
