Chapter 4
1 For the rest, then brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

πάθειpathei[the] passionG3806N-DSN ἐπιθυμίαςepithumiasof lustG1939N-GSF καθάπερkathaperasG2509CONJ ἔθνηethnēGentilesG1484N-NPN εἰδόταeidotaknowingG6063V-RAP-NPN θεόν·theonGod;G2316N-ASM-T 6 not to go beyond and to overreach his brother in the matter, because the avenger concerning all these is the Lord, even as we told you before, and solemnly testified.

ἐκάλεσενekalesenhas calledG2564GV-AAI-3S ἀκαθαρσίᾳakatharsiaimpurityG0167N-DSF ἁγιασμῷ.hagiasmōholiness.G0038N-DSM 8 Therefore, the one that despises does not despise man, but God, even He giving His Holy Spirit to us.

But, brothers, we exhort you to abound more.

And the dead in Christ will rise again first.

And so we will always be with the Lord.
