Chapter 25
The parable of the ten virgins and of the talents. The description of the last judgment.
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be like ten virgins, who, taking their lamps, went out to meet the groom and the bride.

And those who were prepared entered with him to the wedding, and the door was closed.

And promptly, he set out.

ὡσαύτωςhōsautōsLikewiseG5615ADV ὁhothe [one with]G3588T-NSM ἐκέρδησενekerdēsengainedG2770V-AAI-3S αὐτὸςautoshe [gained]G0846P-NSM 18 But he who had received one, going out, dug into the earth, and he hid the money of his lord.

Behold, I have increased it by another five.’

Since you have been faithful over a few things, I will appoint you over many things. Enter into the gladness of your lord.’

Behold, I have gained another two.’

You reap where you have not sown, and gather where you have not scattered.

Behold, you have what is yours.’

You knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered.

But from him who has not, even what he seems to have, shall be taken away.
ἔχοντιechontihavingG2192V-PAP-DSM παντὶpantito everyoneG3956A-DSM δοθήσεταιdothēsetaiwill be givenG1325V-FPI-3S περισσευθήσεται·perisseuthēsetaihe will have in abundance;G4052V-FPI-3S τοῦtouthe [one]G3588T-GSM ἔχοντος,echontoshaving,G2192V-PAP-GSM ἔχειecheihe hasG2192V-PAI-3S ἀρθήσεταιarthēsetaiwill be taken awayG0142V-FPI-3S αὐτοῦ.autouhim.G0846P-GSM 30 And cast that useless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

And he shall separate them from one another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
συναχθήσονταιsunachthēsontaithey will be gatheredG4863V-FPI-3P ἔμπροσθενemprosthenbeforeG1715PREP ἔθνη,ethnēnations,G1484N-NPN ἀφορίσειaphoriseiHe will separateG0873V-FAI-3S αὐτοὺςautousthemG0846P-APM ἀλλήλωνallēlōnone anotherG0240C-GPM ποιμὴνpoimēnshepherdG4166N-NSM ἀφορίζειaphorizeiseparatesG0873V-PAI-3S πρόβαταprobatasheepG4263N-APN ἐρίφων,eriphōngoats,G2056N-GPM 33 And he shall station the sheep, indeed, on his right, but the goats on his left.
στήσειstēseiHe will setG2476V-FAI-3S πρόβαταprobatathe sheepG4263N-APN δεξιῶνdexiōn[the] right handG1188A-GPN αὐτοῦ,autouof Him,G0846P-GSM ἐρίφιαeriphiathe goatsG2055N-APN εὐωνύμων.¶euōnumōn[the] left.G2176A-GPN 34 Then the King shall say to those who will be on his right: ‘Come, you blessed of my Father. Possess the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

ἐπείνασαepeinasaI hungeredG3983V-AAI-1S ἐδώκατέedōkateyou gaveG1325V-AAI-2P φαγεῖν,phageinto eat,G5315V-AAN ἐδίψησαedipsēsaI thirstedG1372V-AAI-1S ἐποτίσατέepotisateyou gave to drinkG4222V-AAI-2P ξένοςxenosa strangerG3581A-NSM ἤμηνēmēnI wasG1510V-IMI-1S συνηγάγετέsunēgageteyou took inG4863V-2AAI-2P 36 naked, and you covered me; sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.’

Or naked, and covered you?
εἴδομενeidomensaw weG1492HV-2AAI-1P ξένονxenona strangerG3581A-ASM συνηγάγομενsunēgagomentook [You] inG4863V-2AAI-1P γυμνὸνgumnonnakedG1131A-ASM περιεβάλομεν;periebalomenclothed [You]?G4016V-2AAI-1P 39 Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and visit to you?’
εἴδομενeidomensaw weG1492HV-2AAI-1P ἀσθενοῦνταasthenountaailingG0770HV-PAP-ASM φυλακῇphulakēaprisonG5438GN-DSF ἤλθομενēlthomencameG2064V-2AAI-1P 40 And in response, the King shall say to them, ‘Amen I say to you, whenever you did this for one of these, the least of my brothers, you did it for me.’
