Chapter 2
1 For you yourselves know, brethren, our entrance among you, that it was not in vain.

παράκλησιςparaklēsisthe exhortationG3874N-NSF πλάνηςplanēserrorG4106N-GSF ἀκαθαρσίαςakatharsiasimpurityG0167N-GSF δόλῳ·dolōtrickery;G1388N-DSM 4 but as God had judged us worthy to be intrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who tries our hearts.

Are not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? You indeed are our glory and joy.
