Chapter 9
1 The man that was born blind restored to sight. 8 He is brought to the Pharisees, 13 They are offended at it, and excommunicate him: 35 But he is received of Jesus, and confesses him, 39 Who they are whom Christ enlightens.
1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

He said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and do see.

Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

ἔφη·ephēhe was saying;G5346V-IAI-3S πιστεύω,pisteuōI believe,G4100V-PAI-1S προσεκύνησενprosekunēsenhe worshipedG4352V-AAI-3S 39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
