Chapter 9
1 And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man who was blind from [his] birth.

Then he went and washed and came back seeing.

He said, I know not.

He said unto them, He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed and do see.

Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such signs? And there was a division among them.

How did he open thine eyes?

[Do] ye also desire to be his disciples?

οὗτοςhoutosthis [man]G3778D-NSM θεοῦ,theouGod,G2316N-GSM-T ἠδύνατοēdunatoHe was ableG1410V-INI-3S οὐδέν.¶oudenno [thing].G3762A-ASN 34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

ἔφη·ephēhe was saying;G5346V-IAI-3S πιστεύω,pisteuōI believe,G4100V-PAI-1S προσεκύνησενprosekunēsenhe worshipedG4352V-AAI-3S 39 And Jesus said, For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see might see and that those who see might be blinded.
