Chapter 9
1 And passing by, he saw a man blind from birth,

He went away, therefore, and did wash, and came seeing;

οἴδαμενoidamenWe knowG6063V-RAI-1P ἁμαρτωλῶνhamartōlōnto sinnersG0268A-GPM ἀκούει,akoueidoes listen,G0191V-PAI-3S θεοσεβὴςtheosebēsGod-fearingG2318A-NSM θέλημαthelēmawillG2307N-ASN αὐτοῦautouof HimG0846P-GSM ποιῇ,poiēashall do,G4160GV-PAS-3S τούτουtoutouto himG3778D-GSM ἀκούει.akoueiHe listens.G0191V-PAI-3S 32 from the age it was not heard, that any one did open eyes of one who hath been born blind;

οὗτοςhoutosthis [man]G3778D-NSM θεοῦ,theouGod,G2316N-GSM-T ἠδύνατοēdunatoHe was ableG1410V-INI-3S οὐδέν.¶oudenno [thing].G3762A-ASN 34 They answered and said to him, `In sins thou wast born altogether, and thou dost teach us!' and they cast him forth without.

ἔφη·ephēhe was saying;G5346V-IAI-3S πιστεύω,pisteuōI believe,G4100V-PAI-1S προσεκύνησενprosekunēsenhe worshipedG4352V-AAI-3S 39 And Jesus said, `For judgment I to this world did come, that those not seeing may see, and those seeing may become blind.'
