1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

ἦλθενēlthencameG2064V-2AAI-3S δεύτεροςdeuterossecondG1208A-NSM λέγων·legōnsaying;G3004GV-PAP-NSM ἐποίησενepoiēsenhas madeG4160GV-AAI-3S μνᾶς.mnasminas.G3414N-APF 19 And he said likewise to him, Be you also over five cities.
εἶπενeipenHe saidG2036V-2AAI-3S τούτῳ·toutōto this one;G3778D-DSM σὺsuyou yourselfG4771P-2NS γίνουginoudo beG1096V-PNM-2S πόλεων.¶poleōncities.G4172N-GPF 20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is your pound, which I have kept laid up in a cloth:

You knew that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

εἶπανeipanthey saidG2036V-2AAI-3P αὐτῷ·autōto him;G0846P-DSM κύριε,kurieMaster,G2962HN-VSM-T ἔχειecheihe hasG2192V-PAI-3S μνᾶς.mnasminas.G3414N-APF 26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which has shall be given; and from him that has not, even that he has shall be taken away from him.

εἶπαν·eipanthey said:G2036V-2AAI-3P αὐτοῦautouof itG0846P-GSM χρείανchreianneedG5532N-ASF ἔχει.echeihas.G2192V-PAI-3S 35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

πορευομένουporeuomenouWhen is goingG4198V-PNP-GSM ὑπεστρώννυονhupestrōnnuonthey were spreadingG5291V-IAI-3P ἱμάτιαhimatiagarmentsG2440N-APN αὐτῶνautōnof themG0846P-GPM 37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

ἤγγισεν,ēngisenHe drew near,G1448V-AAI-3S ἰδὼνidōnhaving seenG1492HV-2AAP-NSM ἔκλαυσενeklausenHe weptG2799V-AAI-3S 42 Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace! but now they are hid from your eyes.
