Chapter 15
1 Now I am going to make clear to you, my brothers, what the good news was which I gave to you, and which you took, and on which your faith is based,

ΧριστὸςChristosChristG5547N-NSM-T ἐγήγερται,egēgertaihas been raised,G1453V-RPI-3S κενὸνkenon[is] voidG2756A-NSN κήρυγμαkērugmapreachingG2782N-NSN ἡμῶν,hēmōnof us,G3165P-1GP ὑμῶν.humōnof you.G4771P-2GP 15 Yes, and we are seen to be false witnesses of God; because we gave witness of God that by his power Christ came again from the dead: which is not true if there is no coming back from the dead.

κοιμηθέντεςkoimēthenteshaving fallen asleepG2837V-APP-NPM ΧριστῷChristōChristG5547N-DSM-T ἀπώλοντο.apōlontohave perished.G0622V-2AMI-3P 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most unhappy.

ὥσπερhōsperFor asG5618CONJ πάντεςpantesallG3956A-NPM ἀποθνῄσκουσιν,apothnēskousindie,G0599V-PAI-3P ΧριστῷChristōChristG5547N-DSM-T πάντεςpantesallG3956A-NPM ζῳοποιηθήσονται.zōopoiēthēsontaiwill be made alive.G2227V-FPI-3P 23 But every man in his right order: Christ the first-fruits; then those who are Christ's at his coming.
ἕκαστοςhekastoseachG1538A-NSM τάγματι·tagmatiorder:G5001N-DSN ἀπαρχὴaparchē[the] firstfruitG0536N-NSF Χριστός,ChristosChrist,G5547N-NSM-T ΧριστοῦChristouof ChristG5547N-GSM-T παρουσίᾳparousiacomingG3952N-DSF αὐτοῦ·autouof Him;G0846P-GSM 24 Then comes the end, when he will give up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have put an end to all rule and to all authority and power.

ἔσχατοςeschatos[The] lastG2078A-NSM ἐχθρὸςechthrosenemyG2190N-NSM καταργεῖταιkatargeitaito be abolished [is]G2673V-PPI-3S θάνατος.thanatosdeath.G2288N-NSM 27 For, as it says, He has put all things under his feet. But when he says, All things are put under him, it is clear that it is not said about him who put all things under him.
πάνταpantaAll thingsG3956A-APN ὑπέταξενhupetaxenHe has put in subjectionG5293V-2AAI-3S αὐτοῦ·autouof Him;G0846P-GSM εἴπῃeipēit may be saidG2036V-2AAS-3S πάνταpantaall thingsG3956A-NPN ὑποτέτακται,hupotetaktaihave been put in subjection,G5293V-RPI-3S δῆλονdēlon[it is] evidentG1212A-NSN ἐκτὸςektos[is] exceptedG1622PREP τοῦtouthe [One who]G3588T-GSM ὑποτάξαντοςhupotaxantoshaving put in subjectionG5293V-2AAP-GSM πάντα·pantaall things;G3956A-APN 28 And when all things have been put under him, then will the Son himself be under him who put all things under him, so that God may be all in all.

If the dead do not come to life again, let us take our pleasure in feasting, for tomorrow we come to an end.

πλανᾶσθε·planasthedo be misled:G4105V-PPM-2P φθείρουσινphtheirousinDo corruptG5351V-PAI-3P χρηστὰchrēstagoodG5543A-APN ὁμιλίαιhomiliaicompanionshipsG3657N-NPF 34 Be awake to righteousness and keep yourselves from sin; for some have no knowledge of God: I say this to put you to shame.

ἐρεῖereiwill sayG4483V-FAI-3S τις·tissomeone;G5100X-NSM ἐγείρονταιegeirontaiare raisedG1453V-PPI-3P νεκροί;nekroidead?G3498A-NPM ποίῳpoiōWith whatG4169I-DSN σώματιsōmatibodyG4983N-DSN ἔρχονται;erchontaido they come?G2064V-PNI-3P 36 Foolish man, it is necessary for the seed which you put into the earth to undergo death in order that it may come to life again:
ἄφρων,aphrōnFoolG0878A-VSM σὺsuyou yourselfG4771P-2NS σπείρεις,speireisyou sowG4687V-PAI-2S ζῳοποιεῖταιzōopoieitaidoes come to lifeG2227V-PPI-3S ἀποθάνῃ·apothanēit may die;G0599V-2AAS-3S 37 And when you put it into the earth, you do not put in the body which it will be, but only the seed, of grain or some other sort of plant;
σπείρεις,speireisyou sow,G4687V-PAI-2S γενησόμενονgenēsomenonwill beG1096V-FDP-ASN σπείρειςspeireisyou sowG4687V-PAI-2S γυμνὸνgumnona bareG1131A-ASM κόκκον,kokkongrain,G2848N-ASM τύχοι,tuchoiit would beG5177V-2AAO-3S σίτουsitouof wheatG4621N-GSM τινοςtinosof someG5100X-GSN λοιπῶν·loipōnrest;G3062A-GPN 38 But God gives it a body, as it is pleasing to him, and to every seed its special body.

σὰρξsarxflesh [is]G4561N-NSF ἀνθρώπων,anthrōpōnof men,G0444N-GPM ἄλληallēanotherG0243A-NSF κτηνῶν,ktēnōnof beasts,G2934N-GPN ἄλληallēanotherG0243A-NSF πτηνῶν,ptēnōnof birdsG4421A-GPN ἄλληallēanotherG0243A-NSF ἰχθύων.ichthuōnof fish.G2486N-GPM 40 And there are bodies of heaven and bodies of earth, but the glory of the one is different from that of the other.
σώματαsōmatabodies [there are]G4983N-NPN ἐπουράνιαepouraniaheavenlyG2032A-NPN σώματαsōmatabodiesG4983N-NPN ἐπίγεια·epigeiaearthly;G1919A-NPN ἐπουρανίωνepouraniōnheavenlyG2032A-GPN δόξα,doxaglory,G1391N-NSF ἑτέραheteraanotherG2087A-NSF ἐπιγείων.epigeiōnearthly.G1919A-GPN 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for the glory of one star is different from that of another.

It is planted in death; it comes again in life:
ἀνάστασιςanastasisresurrectionG0386N-NSF νεκρῶν.nekrōndead.G3498A-GPM σπείρεταιspeiretaiIt is sownG4687V-PPI-3S φθορᾷ,phthoradecay,G5356N-DSF ἐγείρεταιegeiretaiit is raisedG1453V-PPI-3S ἀφθαρσίᾳ·aphtharsiaimmortality;G0861N-DSF 43 It is planted in shame; it comes again in glory: feeble when it is planted, it comes again in power:
σπείρεταιspeiretaiIt is sownG4687V-PPI-3S ἀτιμίᾳ,atimiadishonor,G0819N-DSF ἐγείρεταιegeiretaiit is raisedG1453V-PPI-3S δόξῃ·doxēglory;G1391N-DSF σπείρεταιspeiretaiIt is sownG4687V-PPI-3S ἀσθενείᾳ,astheneiaweakness,G0769GN-DSF ἐγείρεταιegeiretaiit is raisedG1453V-PPI-3S δυνάμει·dunameipower;G1411N-DSF 44 It is planted a natural body; it comes again as a body of the spirit. If there is a natural body, there is equally a body of the spirit.

The last Adam is a life-giving spirit.

πρῶτονprōtonfirst [was]G4413GA-NSN πνευματικὸνpneumatikonspiritualG4152A-NSN ψυχικόν,psuchikonnatural,G5591A-NSN πνευματικόν.¶pneumatikonspiritual.G4152A-NSN 47 The first man is from the earth, and of the earth: the second man is from heaven.
ἄνθρωποςanthrōposmanG0444N-NSM χοϊκός,choikosmade of dust,G5517A-NSM δεύτεροςdeuterossecondG1208A-NSM ἄνθρωποςanthrōposmanG0444N-NSM οὐρανοῦ.ouranouheaven.G3772N-GSM 48 Those who are of the earth are like the man who was from the earth: and those who are of heaven are like the one from heaven.
