Chapter 11
1 Now a certain [man] was sick, [named] Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

If any man walketh in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

They say to him, Lord, come and see.

ἐδάκρυσενedakrusenWeptG1145V-AAI-3S Ἰησοῦς.IēsousJesus.G2424GN-NSM-P 36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
ἔλεγονelegonWere sayingG3004GV-IAI-3P Ἰουδαῖοι·IoudaioiJews;G2453N-NPM-PG ἐφίλειephileiHe was lovingG5368V-IAI-3S αὐτόν.autonhim!G0846P-ASM 37 And some of them said, Could not this man, who opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
εἶπαν·eipansaid;G2036V-2AAI-3P ἐδύνατοedunatowas ableG1410V-INI-3S οὗτοςhoutosthis [man]G3778D-NSM ἀνοίξαςanoixashaving openedG0455V-AAP-NSM ὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmouseyesG3788N-APM τυφλοῦtuphloublindG5185A-GSM ποιῆσαιpoiēsaito have causedG4160GV-AAN οὗτοςhoutosthis oneG3778D-NSM ἀποθάνῃ;¶apothanēmay have died?G0599V-2AAS-3S 38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself, cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith to him, Lord, by this time his body is offensive: for he hath been [dead] four days.

And Jesus lifted up [his] eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me:

Jesus saith to them, Loose him, and let him go.
