1 And the high priest said, Are these things so?

And so he begot Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day. And Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs.

And God was with him,

And as he approached to examine, a voice of the Lord came to him,

And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

This man God sent, a ruler and a liberator by the hand of the agent who appeared to him in the bush.
