Chapter 10
1 And having risen thence, he doth come to the coasts of Judea, through the other side of the Jordan, and again do multitudes come together unto him, and, as he had been accustomed, again he was teaching them.

συνέζευξεν,sunezeuxenhas joined together,G4801V-AAI-3S ἄνθρωποςanthrōposmanG0444N-NSM χωριζέτω.¶chōrizetōshould separate.G5563V-PAM-3S 10 And in the house again his disciples of the same thing questioned him,

ἐναγκαλισάμενοςenagkalisamenoshaving embracedG1723V-ADP-NSM κατευλόγειkateulogeihe was greatly blessingG6050V-IAI-3S τιθεὶςtitheishaving laidG5087V-PAP-NSM χεῖραςcheirashandsG5495N-APF αὐτά.¶autathem.G0846P-APN 17 And as he is going forth into the way, one having run and having kneeled to him, was questioning him, `Good teacher, what may I do, that life age-during I may inherit?'

στυγνάσαςstugnasashaving been sadG4768V-AAP-NSM ἀπῆλθενapēlthenhe went awayG0565V-2AAI-3S λυπούμενος·lupoumenosgrieving;G3076V-PPP-NSM ἦνēnhe was [one]G1510V-IAI-3S ἔχωνechōnhavingG2192V-PAP-NSM κτήματαktēmatapossessionsG2933N-APN πολλά.pollamany.G4183A-APN 23 And Jesus having looked round, saith to his disciples, `How hardly shall they who have riches enter into the reign of God!'
περιβλεψάμενοςperiblepsamenoshaving looked aroundG4017V-AMP-NSM ἸησοῦςIēsousJesusG2424GN-NSM-P μαθηταῖςmathētaisdisciplesG3101N-DPM αὐτοῦ·autouof Him;G0846P-GSM δυσκόλωςduskolōsdifficultlyG1423ADV χρήματαchrēmatarichesG5536N-APN ἔχοντεςechonteshavingG2192V-PAP-NPM βασιλείανbasileiankingdomG0932N-ASF θεοῦtheouof GodG2316N-GSM-T εἰσελεύσονται.eiseleusontaiwill enter!G1525V-FDI-3P 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words, and Jesus again answering saith to them, `Children, how hard is it to those trusting on the riches to enter into the reign of God!

And having again taken the twelve, he began to tell them the things about to happen to him,

ἐμπαίξουσινempaixousinthey will mockG1702V-FAI-3P ἐμπτύσουσινemptusousinwill spit uponG1716V-FAI-3P μαστιγώσουσινmastigōsousinwill flogG3146V-FAI-3P ἀποκτενοῦσινapoktenousinwill killG0615V-FAI-3P μετὰmetaon [the]G3326PREP τρεῖςtreisthirdG5140A-APF ἡμέραςhēmerasdayG2250N-APF ἀναστήσεται.¶anastēsetaiHe will rise again.G0450V-FMI-3S 35 And there come near to him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, `Teacher, we wish that whatever we may ask for ourselves, thou mayest do for us;'
