Chapter 14
1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus

He has risen from the dead, and therefore the powerful works are working in him.

But for the oath's sake, and those reclining with him, he commanded it to be given.

And hearing, the crowds followed Him on foot out of the cities.

And He healed their sick.

Send the crowd away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.

λέγουσινlegousinthey sayG3004GV-PAI-3P αὐτῷ·autōto Him;G0846P-DSM ἔχομενechomenwe haveG2192V-PAI-1P ἄρτουςartousloavesG0740N-APM ἰχθύας.ichthuasfish.G2486N-APM 18 And He said, Bring them here to Me.
εἶπεν·eipenHe said;G2036V-2AAI-3S φέρετέpheretedo bringG5342V-PAM-2P αὐτούς.autousthem.G0846P-APM 19 And He commanded the crowd to recline on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to Heaven He blessed and broke, and gave the loaves to His disciples. And the disciples gave to the crowd.

And they took up twelve hand baskets full from the fragments that remained.

And when evening had come, He was there alone.

And they cried out for fear.

Do not fear.

And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

And beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me!

Why did you doubt?

ἀναβάντωνanabantōnwhen were climbingG0305V-2AAP-GPM πλοῖονploionboatG4143N-ASN ἐκόπασενekopasenceasedG2869V-AAI-3S ἄνεμος.anemoswind.G0417N-NSM 33 And those in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, Truly You are the Son of God.
ἐλθόντεςelthonteshaving comeG2064V-2AAP-NPM προσεκύνησανprosekunēsanworshipedG4352V-AAI-3P λέγοντες·legontessaying;G3004GV-PAP-NPM ἀληθῶςalēthōsTrulyG0230ADV θεοῦtheouof GodG2316N-GSM-T εἶ.eiYou are!G1510V-PAI-2S 34 And when they had passed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret.
διαπεράσαντεςdiaperasanteshaving crossed overG1276V-AAP-NPM ἦλθονēlthonthey cameG2064V-2AAI-3P Γεννησαρέτ.GennēsaretGennesaret.G1082N-ASF-L 35 And recognizing Him, the men of that place sent to all that neighborhood, and brought to Him all who were diseased.

And as many as touched were made perfectly whole.
