Chapter 20
1 For the kingdom of the heavens is compared to a man, a house-ruler, who went out in the early morning at the same time to hire workmen for his vineyard.

And he says to them, Why have ye stood here idle the whole day?

He says to them, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatever would be right ye will receive.

And they also received a denarius each.

Did thou not agree with me for a denarius?

But I want to give to this last man, as to thee also.

And they will condemn him to death,

And the third day he will rise.

Are ye able to drink the cup that I am going to drink, or to be immersed the immersion that I am immersed? They say to him, We are able.

But to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but to whom it has been prepared by my Father.

Rather whoever wants to become great among you, he shall be your helper,

θέλῃthelēshall wishG2309V-PAS-3S εἶναιeinaito beG1511V-PAN πρῶτος,prōtosfirst,G4413GA-NSM ἔσταιestaihe will beG1510V-FDI-3S δοῦλος·doulosslave;G1401N-NSM 28 Just as the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
