1 And he spoke a parable to them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.

10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector.

παραδοθήσεταιparadothēsetaiHe will be betrayedG3860V-FPI-3S ἔθνεσινethnesinGentilesG1484N-DPN ἐμπαιχθήσεταιempaichthēsetaiwill be mockedG1702V-FPI-3S ὑβρισθήσεταιhubristhēsetaiwill be insultedG5195V-FPI-3S ἐμπτυσθήσεται,emptusthēsetaiwill be spit upon,G1716V-FPI-3S 33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
