Chapter 23
1 And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him to Pilate.

And he answered him and said, Thou sayest [it].

I have found no cause of death in him; I will therefore chastise him, and let [him] go.

ταῦταtautathese thingsG3778D-APN ποιοῦσιν,poiousinthey do,G4160GV-PAI-3P γένηται;¶genētaimay happen?G1096V-2ADS-3S 32 And two others, [who were] malefactors, were led with him to be put to death.
ἬγοντοĒgontoWere being led awayG0071V-IPI-3P ἕτεροιheteroiotherG2087A-NPM κακοῦργοιkakourgoicriminalsG2557A-NPM ἀναιρεθῆναι.anairethēnaito be executed.G0337V-APN 33 And when they had come to the place which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors; one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

And the rulers also with them derided [him], saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he is Christ the chosen of God.

ἐνέπαιξανenepaixanMockedG1702V-AAI-3P στρατιῶταιstratiōtaisoldiersG4757N-NPM προσερχόμενοι,proserchomenoicoming near,G4334V-PNP-NPM ὄξοςoxossour wineG3690N-ASN προσφέροντεςprospherontesofferingG4374V-PAP-NPM 37 And saying, If thou art the King of the Jews, save thyself.
