Chapter 27
1 When the morning was come, all the princes of the priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death,

And they said, What [is that] to us? Thou shalt see [to it].

Barabbas or Jesus who is called Christ?

[They] all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

ἐκδύσαντεςekdusanteshaving strippedG1562V-AAP-NPM χλαμύδαchlamudaa robeG5511N-ASF κοκκίνηνkokkinēnscarletG2847A-ASF περιέθηκανperiethēkanthey put aroundG4060V-AAI-3P 29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put [it] upon his head and a reed in his right hand; and they bowed the knee before him and mocked him, saying, Receive joy, King of the Jews!

If thou art the Son of God, come down from the stake.
