Chapter 27
1 NOW when the morning came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus how they might put him to death.

But they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

Then Jesus replied to him, Thou sayest true.

They all say to him, Let him be crucified.

If thou be the Son of God, descend from the cross.
