Chapter 22
1 And answering, Jesus again spoke to them in parables, saying:

ἀμελήσαντεςamelēsanteshaving paid no attentionG0272V-AAP-NPM ἀπῆλθον,apēlthonthey went away,G0565V-2AAI-3P ὃςhosthat [one]G3739R-NSM ἴδιονidion[his] ownG2398A-ASM ὃςhosthat [one]G3739R-NSM ἐμπορίανemporianbusinessG1711N-ASF αὐτοῦ·autouof him;G0846P-GSM 6 And the rest, seizing his slaves, insulted and killed them .

And sending his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

πορεύεσθεporeuesthedo goG4198V-PNM-2P διεξόδουςdiexodousthoroughfaresG1327N-APF ὁδῶν,hodōnhighways,G3598N-GPF ὅσουςhosousas many asG3745K-APM εὕρητε,heurēteyou shall find,G2147V-2AAS-2P καλέσατεkalesatedo inviteG2564GV-AAM-2P γάμους.gamouswedding feast.G1062N-APM 10 And going out into the highways, those slaves gathered all, as many as they found, both evil and good. And the wedding feast was filled with reclining guests.

But he was speechless.

There shall be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

πορευθέντεςporeuthenteshaving gone outG4198V-AOP-NPM ΦαρισαῖοιPharisaioiPhariseesG5330N-NPM-T συμβούλιονsumboulioncounselG4824N-ASN ἔλαβονelabontookG2983V-2AAI-3P παγιδεύσωσινpagideusōsinthey may trapG3802V-AAS-3P λόγῳ.logōHis words.G3056N-DSM 16 And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and it does not concern you about anyone, for you do not look to the face of men.

Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

And they brought a denarius to Him.

Then He said to them, Then give to Caesar the things of Caesar, and to God the things of God.

And leaving Him, they went away.

And having married, the first expired, and not having seed left his wife to his brother.

God is not God of the dead, but of the living. Ex. 3:6

διδάσκαλε,didaskaleTeacher,G1320N-VSM-T ἐντολὴentolēcommandmentG1785N-NSF μεγάληmegalē[is the] greatestG3173A-NSF 37 And Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." Deut. 6:5
