Chapter 22
1 And Jesus answering spoke to them again in parables, saying,

ὡμοιώθηhōmoiōthēHas become likeG3666V-API-3S βασιλείαbasileiakingdomG0932N-NSF οὐρανῶνouranōnheavensG3772N-GPM ἀνθρώπῳanthrōpōto a manG0444N-DSM βασιλεῖbasileia kingG0935N-DSM ἐποίησενepoiēsenmadeG4160GV-AAI-3S γάμουςgamousa wedding feastG1062N-APM αὐτοῦ.autouof him.G0846P-GSM 3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.

ἀμελήσαντεςamelēsanteshaving paid no attentionG0272V-AAP-NPM ἀπῆλθον,apēlthonthey went away,G0565V-2AAI-3P ὃςhosthat [one]G3739R-NSM ἴδιονidion[his] ownG2398A-ASM ὃςhosthat [one]G3739R-NSM ἐμπορίανemporianbusinessG1711N-ASF αὐτοῦ·autouof him;G0846P-GSM 6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew [them].

πορεύεσθεporeuesthedo goG4198V-PNM-2P διεξόδουςdiexodousthoroughfaresG1327N-APF ὁδῶν,hodōnhighways,G3598N-GPF ὅσουςhosousas many asG3745K-APM εὕρητε,heurēteyou shall find,G2147V-2AAS-2P καλέσατεkalesatedo inviteG2564GV-AAM-2P γάμους.gamouswedding feast.G1062N-APM 10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.

But he was speechless.

17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

And they presented to him a denarius.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of1 God in heaven.

38 This is [the] great and first commandment.
