Chapter 22
1 Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, and said,

πορεύεσθεporeuesthedo goG4198V-PNM-2P διεξόδουςdiexodousthoroughfaresG1327N-APF ὁδῶν,hodōnhighways,G3598N-GPF ὅσουςhosousas many asG3745K-APM εὕρητε,heurēteyou shall find,G2147V-2AAS-2P καλέσατεkalesatedo inviteG2564GV-AAM-2P γάμους.gamouswedding feast.G1062N-APM 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all, as many as they found, both bad and good; and the bride-chamber was fully furnished with guests.

And he was struck dumb.

Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?

And they brought to him a denary.

Then saith he to them, Render then to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.

He is not a God of the dead, but of the living.

διδάσκαλε,didaskaleTeacher,G1320N-VSM-T ἐντολὴentolēcommandmentG1785N-NSF μεγάληmegalē[is the] greatestG3173A-NSF 37 And he said to him, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
