1 And he departed thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples followed him.

And many that heard him were astonished, and said: Whence has this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given to him, that even such mighty deeds are done by his hands?

And are not his sisters here with us? And they found in him cause for offense.

And he went to the villages round about, and taught.

Verily I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom or Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

She replied: The head of John the Immerser.

For there were many coming and going, and they had not leisure even to eat.

And he began to teach them many things.
