For your prayer is heard, and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

And he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.

For I am old, and my wife is advanced in her days.

And I am sent to speak to you and to show you these glad tidings.

And they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he was making signs to them, and remained speechless.

And the virgin's name was Mary.

Blessed are you among women.
εἰσελθὼνeiselthōnhaving comeG1525V-2AAP-NSM ἄγγελοςangelosangelG0032GN-NSM εἶπεν·eipenhe said;G2036V-2AAI-3S χαῖρε,chaireGreetings!G5463V-PAM-2S κεχαριτωμένη·kecharitōmenēyou graciously favored;G5487V-RPP-VSF κύριοςkuriosLord [is]G2962GN-NSM-T εὐλογημένηeulogēmenēblessed [are]G2127V-RPP-NSF σὺsuyou yourselfG4771P-2NS γυναιξίν.gunaixinwomen.G1135GN-DPF 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what kind of greeting this might be.
ἰδοῦσαidousahaving seen [him]G1492HV-2AAP-NSF λόγῳlogōstatementG3056N-DSM διεταράχθηdietarachthēshe was troubledG1298V-API-3S αὐτοῦautouof himG0846P-GSM διελογίζετοdielogizetowas ponderingG1260V-INI-3S ποταπὸςpotaposwhat kindG4217I-NSM εἴηeiēwould beG1510V-PAO-3S ἀσπασμὸςaspasmossalutationG0783N-NSM οὗτος.houtosthis.G3778D-NSM 30 And the angel said to her, Do not fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

You shall conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS.
συλλήμψῃsullēmpsēyou will conceiveG4815V-FDI-2S γαστρὶgastriwombG1064N-DSF τέξῃtexēwill bring forthG5088V-FDI-2S καλέσειςkaleseisyou will callG2564GV-FAI-2S αὐτοῦautouof HimG0846P-GSM Ἰησοῦν.IēsounJesus.G2424GN-ASM-P 32 He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest. And the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David.
ἔσταιestaiwill beG1510V-FDI-3S μέγαςmegasgreatG3173A-NSM ὑψίστουhupsistouof [the] Most HighG5310A-GSM-S κληθήσεται,klēthēsetaiHe will be called,G2564GV-FPI-3S δώσειdōseiwill giveG1325V-FAI-3S κύριοςkurios[the] LordG2962GN-NSM-T θρόνονthrononthroneG2362N-ASM ΔαυὶδDauidof DavidG1138N-GSM-P πατρὸςpatrosfatherG3962N-GSM αὐτοῦ,autouof Him,G0846P-GSM 33 And He shall reign over the house of David forever, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.

ΕἶπενEipenSaidG2036V-2AAI-3S ἄγγελον·angelonangel;G0032GN-ASM ἔσταιestaiwill beG1510V-FDI-3S γινώσκω;¶ginōskōI know?G1097V-PAI-1S 35 And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you. Therefore also that Holy One which will be born of you shall be called Son of God.

And this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.

ἀδυνατήσειadunatēseiwill be impossibleG0101V-FAI-3S ῥῆμα.¶rhēmadeclaration.G4487N-NSN 38 And Mary said, Behold the servant of the Lord. Let it be to me according to your word. And the angel departed from her.
